The Collaboration for the Advancement of College Teaching & Learning is a regionally-based membership organization with national outreach that supports and promotes outstanding college teaching and learning at public, private, and tribally-affiliated colleges and universities.

We engage faculty, student development staff, and other educators in a shared professional community that unites those from different academic and institutional cultures in a common commitment and holistic approach to the retention and achievement of a diverse student population. Our programs feature cutting-edge knowledge and model effective teaching, learning, and assessment approaches to benefit participants directly and promote dissemination.

As part of our goal to deliver value and broad impact, The Collaboration makes the following promise:

·       We will provide individuals with new knowledge and ideas, enhanced skills, and enthusiastic encouragement to learn, teach, and assess more effectively, while their institutions will benefit from gaining a more proficient faculty and staff.

·       We will provide institutions with training, leadership development, and professional consulting to help them build their capacity to meet the challenges of remaining vibrant and competitive providers of education in a rapidly changing global environment.

·       We will offer programs that are convenient, cost-effective, and customized to serve the needs of individual institutions.
