What does it cost to host a Traveling Workshop?

The Collaboration provides high-quality workshops at very affordable rates. Workshop fees are calculated based on the number of presenters, the length of the workshop, program development and management costs, and your institution’s membership status. Fees for standard workshops that are described on this site are listed in the following chart. Workshop Sampler Series are available at a 10% discount off these rates. Click here for more information.

The workshop fee covers facilitators’ honoraria and The Collaboration's oversight and administrative costs. In addition to the workshop fee, institutions are responsible for facilitators’ travel costs, including meals and lodging, and other expenses as negotiated. Institutions may elect to charge an admission fee to help cover costs or invite colleagues from other institutions to attend. Two or more institutions may co-sponsor a workshop to reduce costs further. To obtain the member rate, the host institution must be a current Collaboration member.
